Stone-smoothing

Waterfall

Shouts a song.

Mist rising

To kiss sun's rays,

Shaping a rainbow—

I remember a promise

And contemplate

A faithful God

Whose anger flooded the world,

Whose ark saved mankind.

A cleansing takes place,

A baptism of sorts,

My sins fleeing

With the water.

It is another promise

I now recall—

A hope for life

Beyond my death.

My joy rises

Like mist to greet

With rainbow colors

The sun of God's love.
